Debra Landwehr Engle When I'm actively writing, I remember that every detail matters, and I go through my days seeing the connections and symbolism in everything...in the world around me, and the world within me. Being a writer means you get to experience life in all its richness and significance. Also, it often means that people will tell you their stories, which is a huge privilege.
