Braden Eugene Write what you want to write, don't let people change your mind, if you like what you wrote, keep it.
That happened in this book, I was told some of the stories were too dark, but I didn't change it.

Also, grow a following before you announce a book, it helps a lot, even if you just post a short story a month.

Also, don't play the compare game, don't read a book that has similar vibes to yours, don't say WOW this book is amazing, mine could be so much better.

Believe in yourself and never give up.
