Sometimes observing how people handle life or reading about someone’s account in the Bible has inspired the first budding of a story or stories. For example, I wrote two short stories for students who were struggling with significance. I’ve even been inspired by characters in movies. I was able to ask my Grandmother Bell about family history, and I have a series planned where the main character is modeled after her.
