Suzy
Suzy asked David Putnam:

Hello again! Thank you for your prompt response to my question about the city police and ranks in 1920s. The city in question is Seattle and the census counted valued approximately at 1,356,621 in 1920. Also, I changed "Deputy" to Detective. Do you have any thoughts?

David Putnam Not sure what your are asking. If its about the number of cops per capita its usually (rule of thumb) one per thousand. That number rises and falls based the economy. Happy to answer any other questions. :-)
