Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kent J. Burkhardsmeier During the first several months of the 2020 pandemic, like everyone, I was confined to my home. Many of my outdoor photography trips were canceled. To cope with the anxieties I was feeling, I began mediating on previously photographed nature images. While meditating, I found comfort and felt nature whispering solace. Each morning, I wrote down, in poem format, the words spoken to me. Then I started sharing the images and poems on Instagram. This daily activity led me to the idea of presenting them into a book format.
