Hey, thanks so much! From the Ground Up is fairly unique (for me) in that it's a true memoir. My next two books after that, The Earth Moved and Flower Confidential, are both written in the first person, but they're not so much about me as about other people. So--if you've got a yearning to travel, you might like Flower Confidential, where I go around the world to look at how the cut flower industry works, and if you're more interested in staying home and digging in the dirt, maybe The Earth Moved, about earthworms, is a better next book. I just finished the book this morning and I have to say I enjoyed it thoroughly The intertwining of fact and fiction was so deftly done it was near impossible to tell where one left off and the other began. My question is about the end of the book, the final exchange between Constance and Mr. Heath--is that part true or fabricated? If you could answer my curiosity I would be thrilled. Thank you.
