why does it say that the sequel to black wolves is out-but i can't find it anywhere? the ISBN# seems to be invalid. My daughter just re-read it because i told her the second book was out. i'm dying here.

Sue,
As I've unfortunately had to mention here previously, the publisher of Black Wolves canceled the series in 2017. Half of the second book has been written (and I know the entire plot well) but at the moment I’m very sorry to say the project is floating in a kind of legal limbo. I wish I had better news than that about these novels and characters, who are very close to my heart.
Why the sequels are still listed in some places as for sale I could not tell you. Since the books were contracted to a publisher, it is their department to handle that information (I can't change that information if it comes from a publishing house).
That is the bad news I have, and at the moment I don't have any way of making it less bad. I so appreciate your support, and your daughter's re-read. Please thank her for me.
All best wishes,
Kate Elliott

I've just began to read Bk 1 of this series and was hoping my library have the other 2! I was sad to to be told they were not published --- could you not find another publisher for the remainder of this series? Baen books or whoever? - I really like bk 1 (I'm 83 years old and SF is my favourite reading matter)

When Liath walked the spheres in Child of Flame, I was excited and extremely fascinated to find that her accounts matched my notes on the Kabalah splendidly! My personal notes came from the only book on the Tree of Life I've yet read, which was Dion Fortune's "Mystical Qabalah," published in 1935. I've been very curious... which book/s (if any) did you reference on this topic of the seven palaces/ spheres?
