How do you get inspired to write?

Jacquelyn Elnor Johnson It might be a character, a situation, a place or just a feeling, usually inspired from something someone said, an article in a newspaper, a comment by a favourite radio broadcaster - really, ideas come from everywhere. They're all around us, in the air! There are far, far too many of them. The challenge is picking the best, running with it and ignoring the distraction of all the other delicious ideas for long enough to get the current project done and published.
