Charlie Lovett No, I made up The Tremendous Trio—they are not directly based on any pre-existing series. However, as you no doubt know, there were scores of such series, so I'm sure there are similarities with others.

Is your cottage just empty when you are not living there? I was surprised to read you only live there 8 weeks a year. We lived in a village in Oxfordshire even smaller than Kingham. The place was empty during the week with the London people who only came up for the week-ends.
