Goodreads asked Ivory Raven:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Ivory Raven The thing with writer's block is that it can ruin months of hard work. For an aspiring writer, having a writer's block could mean the end of his first draft.
No book, and I mean no book, is perfect while you're still writing it. When I encounter a writer's block, it's usually while writing the final chapters. I feel as if my whole book is just invalid! That I should just stop writing right here right now.
One way to deal with this nightmare is to simply, well, take a nap!
Once you're taken that sweet nap, your brain starts to calm down; and you can once again stare at that first draft without feeling like burning your pc!
Another alternative is to have one of your beta readers read the whole thing (up to where you're stuck) and then ask for some initial feedback.
