Goodreads asked Lucho Castillo:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Lucho Castillo I don’t really suffer from writer’s block. My problem is stopping the endless images, characters and situations that are constantly flooding into my mind. However, when I need inspiration, or I’m having a problem with a story, I stop writing. Taking walks with my wife and dog, watching TV, or even exercising can make my creativity flow again. Reading the work of other writers also does wonders for any “mental blocks,” because I get to look at the world, or the human condition, through someone else’s eyes. Even if reading does not inspire me, just getting away from my own voice for a while lets me approach my work with fresh, rested eyes.
