Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Meredith Angwin Having worked in the utility industry, I thought I knew more than the basics. In atttempting to understand a headline, I realized that I knew the basics about technologies, but almost nothing about grid-level decision making. The headline I read was "Grid operator: Vermont Yankee not allowed to de-list from Forward Capacity Market." Ten years later, with my new book, I can explain this headline and its implications.
