Goodreads asked Melissa Grace:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Melissa Grace Where I get all of my best ideas: in the shower. HA! On a more serious note, I've always heard you should write the stories you would want to read. I'm in my thirties, and many of my friends are in their thirties and forties as well. I think there's this myth that once we hit our thirties and beyond we magically have life figured out. Or that once we achieve certain life milestones, we have our stuff together.

I can confirm based on my very non-scientific analysis, that not all women over thirty have everything figured out. The big difference between my twenty-something-year-old self and my now self? I'm a lot more comfortable admitting that I have a lot more questions than I do answers. This story is for all the women out there who feel like that. We aren't in our second acts. We're just getting started.
