Lorie
Lorie asked Minerva Spencer:

You should fire your cover designer. He/She has illustrated an 1860s dress on a so-called Regency heroine (1812-1824). Don't these artists even LOOK ONLINE at what was being worn during the time of the story? NO, they do NOT, they are too stupid and arrogant to check anything! Look up Regency or Empire clothing on Google and see what they REALLY wore! THEN fire your artist!

Minerva Spencer I'll pass this along to my publisher.

The truth is that authors don't get much input over their covers (unless they are big shots), we have to accept what our publishers give us.
