Carl Deuker Thanks for the question. I don’t want to spoil the ending, so I’ll be a little vague. The Philadelphia event that Mitch and Kimi learn about late in the book is based on something that actually happened. My grandparents lived in that Philly neighborhood, so I was familiar with it.
