Who is your favourite magician and what is your favourite magic trick?

Hi Andy, That's a tough one! As a kid, Copperfield and Henning were obviously a big deal. But as a kid magician, I studied a lot of Dia Vernon, Slydini and John Kennedy. Although, meeting Banachek in college was a game changer for me.
Favorite trick is hard too. I'm by no means a card guy, but I've been obsessed with the haunted deck since I was a kid. I've been a mentalist since college, and not performing professionally anymore, these days I focus on prop less mentalism. I've adapted a lot of material from the likes of Peter Turner and Pheldon Beck.

Incredible, there are undoubtedly some great Magicians in that list. You sound like you have an amazing talent there. Can I ask why you don't perform professionally anymore? Are you fully focussed on writing now? My magical talents are restricted to a handful of card tricks which astound family and friends once a year at Christmas haha.
