Hey, sorry I missed your question! I was born and raised in Kansas, and I worked in the newspaper industry a long time too. I suppose that all influenced my storyline for Urgent Care. As for this genre, I love romance, but I've lived the boy-meet-girl trope and seen it all my life. I love giving life to stories that normalize queer romance, that show that all forms of love are valid =)
