I survived an emotionally and physically abusive relationship and after leaving continued to face many obstacles that prevented me from truly being free. I had to fight so hard to get people to believe me and help my family I decided that writing my story and a related guidebook would be a good way for me to help others and help end the stigma related to domestic violence.
