Hi Alyssa: I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to respond! I didn't see the email that said I had questions here.
You are certainly not being pushy! I get asked to read a lot of books and right now I don't have time. I agreed to be a judge for the MWA Edgar awards, and it's a very time-consuming process that requires me to read more books than even I normally read in a year! So I can't make any commitments beyond what I have already agreed to. I'm sorry.
Good luck with your book, and if you have a future book you can reach out to me via email (which is available on my webpage.) That way I will (almost!) certainly see the message in a more timely manner.
