Goodreads asked Patricia A. Jackson:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Patricia A. Jackson I do not believe in writer’s block. I do believe in the inner muse, the inner child.

When an author has not properly set the stage, they get stuck. When they have not done the proper research, even on the most minute detail, they get stuck. When they have not unleashed the inner child to play and explore on the creative playground, they remain stuck. When the muse is overwhelmed, overworked, or stressed, the process of writing ceases.

If you want to avoid the pitfalls of writer’s block, keep the inner child well-fed, well-rested, and in the know...with a library that affirms unicorns and fairies exist.
