When does your newest book come out? Can't come out soon enough. You are definitely my favorite Canadian author. I've read each of your books twice as that's how good they are. Love the Canadian History that you write about. Your books are "real". I keep your books and don't give them away. Enjoy the book club meeting in April.

Hello! I loved Tides of Honour so much and was pleasantly surprised to read that you have a music degree. I'm currently studying flute performance at in Nova Scotia, and I would love to be able to achieve a career in performance but I recognize the importance of having other skills. Could you talk a little bit about how writing fit in with being a musician, whether it was something on the side or you always wanted to?
