I'm trying to find time to work on a new Tudor story that's unfortunately taking a back seat at the moment to helping draft changes to our town's ordinances.
It's about a dwarf who grows up in a monastery and finds his way to Henry VIII's court. He overhears some incriminating news and is brutally mutilated when discovered. He decides to exact his revenge on those who hurt him. There will be some familiar historical figures in the story, like the 3rd Duke of Norfolk, and Archbishop Cranmer. Those are the basics. I'm writing it in the first person, so that is a different angle for me to master.
I hope to get rolling with it very soon and I expect it will take about a year to complete a polished manuscript. Thank you for asking and stay safe!
