Hello dear Josh Lanyon!:) Do you think any of your couples in any of your book ended up adopting a child? Years after the events of the books? As a former nanny, I really dislike children in fiction (never realistic ahah), but I 'm always curious if some couples do end up having kids down the line.:) Anyway, thank you very much for your beautiful stories!:D

Maybe because I don't have kids myself (I do have two grown-up step children and they are wonderful, but I can't take any credit for that), I create characters who are unlikely to have children. Or maybe one of the pair might want children (Jake), but the other does not see himself in a parental role (Adrien).
That said, I'm a devoted aunt and if I'd had to take on rearing my nieces and nephews, I wouldn't have hesitated--frankly, I would do anything for any one of those hooliga--er, darlings. ;-D So that is one scenario where one of my characters might end up with a child.
In fact, I do have an idea for a trilogy that I hope to write within the next couple of years--and one of the main characters has guardianship of a nephew. We'll see if that ever comes to pass.
Of my series characters... Can you imagine Kit as a parent? LOL. I think Adrien and Jake will take on semi-parental roles in the life of Natalie's child. Sam and Jason? No. Cosmo... Hmmm. He fully expects to have a child and a child is expected of him. So that could be interesting. Will and Taylor? No way. Devoted uncles. Ellery and Jack... Now that might be a possibility? I'm not sure yet. Tucker and Elliot are a solid no.

First of all I have enjoyed your books. While I found the Adrien English series often bittersweet, Kit Holmes has made me laugh out loud several times, and I can't think when the last time I audibly laughed while reading. Thank you for bringing him and JX to life. Do you concurrently write several books at once, or do you concentrate on a single work? Is it difficult to slip back into a given series after a break?

Yoohoo! Hey, sailor! ;) I have a question: What's your character development process like? And do you find it difficult to create distinct portraits of your characters through dialogue? (Like, do you ever find that they end up sounding too alike or too stunted/not flowy enough and have to rewrite?) Anywho, just finished reading AE again (3rd time, meow?), love your work! They emotionally eviscerate me. T.T <3 Muah
