Goodreads asked Jason Bishop:

How do you get inspired to write?

Jason Bishop Honestly, sometimes I just go back and read a chapter or two from a previous book in the series we're working on. First, it reminds me how far we've come and how much good stuff we've already accomplished. Second, it refreshes me on character development progress; characters who don't evolve, grow, change, mature, etc., are just as two-dimensional as the paper they're on. And third, it reminds me of sub-plots, previous side characters, and other threads I might want to touch on or weave back into the current timeline! All good things!
