Just finished What the Wind Knows. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Would like to read another one of your novels. I know, "Just one?", but right now, I have several books in my queue. If the things I most enjoyed were the historical background, the super natural aspect, and the well-developed characters, which book do you recommend? (notice, I did not emphasize the love story.) thx.

Every book I write tends to have a love story at the heart, so I can't steer you toward something of mine that's less romantic. You might really like The First Girl Child and The Second Blind Son, however. They have a Vikings, The Last Kingdom feel to them, with lots of story, lots of intrigue, history and magic all combined. If you enjoyed What the Wind Knows, however, I really do think you'll like all my books, even with the romance.

Your books are amazing and you're an amazing writer! A lot of times i found myself highlighting phrases because i love your play on words. I especially love the "medical touch" you have on your books i've read so far, i get to relate to it more, as i work in the medical field. I wonder if you have work in healthcare or something? thanks! :)

I don't have a question, but just read Where the Lost Wander and it is the best book I have read in a long time. I am an avid historical fiction reader and this was the first of your books that I read. I always try to find a lesson in the stories I read and the lesson I learned from this book was "endurance is sometimes harder than fighting." My family needed that message. Thank you -(?)
