Apart from do more actual writing than talking about writing, I'd say, find a friend to read your writing who is both very objective and very kind. You need them to be both. If they're too kind they may just tell you what you want to hear. If they are objective but not gentle about it, well, that can send you scurrying back to your cave and it could knock your confidence drastically.

How do you manage to write your steamy scenes in such a magnificent way without it being awkward at all? sorry, lol, its just that I am starting a story of mine and it'll be my first one and i'm struggling with how ill manage those scenes when I get to them as ive never done it before. Thanxxx X
