I just read A Tap on the Window. I was just killing time waiting for another book to arrive. It was amazing! I was so confused the whole time and kept on the edge of my seat. Even when I thought I had it figured out I was wrong and then wrong again. Great writing! Is there any order to read your books or are they all stand alone?
Linwood Barclay
I have a mix of standalones and those there better read in order. My four Zack Walker novels -- Bad Move, Bad Guys, Lone Wolf, Stone Rain -- are best read in order. (if you are in the UK, those last two have different titles; Bad Luck and Bad News.) My Promise Falls trilogy books (Broken Promise, Far From True, The Twenty-Three, plus a followup called Parting Shot) are also best read in that order. And No Time for Goodbye does have a sequel seven years later called No Safe House. But all the others, doesn't matter. Thanks for the kind words about Tap.

Hi, I’ve always wondered, in No Time for Goodbye, did you come up with ‘the other family’ first or Cynthia waking up to find her family gone first? I imagine the two families and then worked backwards.
Also, just thought I’d say love the books, I’m on a non-stop reading fest through them all now

I don't have a question but I wanted to thank you for writing! Your books are fantastic and the storylines are so clever!? I had fallen out of reading while at school but one day in 2009 (I think - long time ago now) I found myself in a book shop and picked up you book "no time for goodbye" on a whim. It made me love reading all over again!! I devoured the book and now read and re-read your books time and time again!
