I really love how you brought in LGBTQ characters in The Parasol Protectorate. Do you plan to bring in more of this in your Finishing School series?

Sadly, I had intended too but they didn't quite fit into the plot. (Aside from Vieve of course.) However, there will be plenty in the new Custard Protocol series, and I may even write a novella or two with a gay main character. I know, right? It might take a while, but it will happen!

Hi Gail! I remember reading that you're actually an anthropologist, specifically archaeologist I think..? (correct if wrong) and i'm wondering, myself being an anthropology student and also someone who loves to read/ write and wants to publish someday, how did you manage it? and now that you are an author, how much of your anthropology job do you actually do anymore? or are you a full time author/writer now? thanks!

Hello my dear, My little question I have for you is this. Would we get to find out about how Sophronia's life turned out after the events of the series? Does she happen to show her face in The Custard Protocol, as a minor character off to the side? Granted she would be a well matured lady by then, so she must of had an exciting life.
