Interesting question. I don't think the horsemen really mirror any of my qualities but perhaps qualities I wish I had or did have at a certain time in my life. I guess that's what fiction is for the writer as well as the readers. A place to live vicariously lol.
I admire Michael's confidence and decisiveness. I wish I were more patient like Kai, although I do portray his ability and desire to plan rather than act on impulse. Damon appeals to a lot of peoples' dark sides. He acts in a way we sometimes wish we could but we don't, because we don't want to go to jail ;) And Will was certainly close to me in my teens and twenties. He needed people to love him. He went with the flow to make others happy. He let himself be manipulated. But eventually, he learned.
They're a mixture of qualities I'd like to have and qualities I love to indulge in the safety of a book.
