The Girl Who Jumped is based on a true story. It's the story of how I met my true love. It was a rocky road at times but ultimately ended up being a story of sexual empowerment, a lot of laughs and the stuff fairy tales are made of! My most recent book (The Texts Before We Met) is a prequel to it. I got the format idea from Feeling Sorry for Celia by Jaclyn Moriarty. It's a book made up of letters, leaflets and post it notes. I loved how well the format worked and wanted to do something similar. So, The Texts Before We Met is made up of text messages and nothing else.
