Why are you so rude to your readers? We all loved your books and when asked about the possible last book you attack with how your life is oh so busy! I must recommend your series tens of times But I also tell them how you treat your readers.

I find questions presented like this to be incredibly rude and disrespectful of my life and time. Writing is a hobby, something I do on the side. I was a part time law student and a full time paralegal for nearly 5 years, and I just recently took the bar exam to become an attorney. At this time, my writing has not been my first priority and I have been very clear on that in my reading group. Goodreads is also the last place to receive an update from me. If my readers are interested in finding out what’s going on with the series as much as they say they are then they would seek out the more direct forums and vendors where my updates are much more abundant. If you don’t want to seek me out on Facebook that’s fine, but please don’t complain when I don’t update the dozens of platforms my books are featured on. With that being said, I write when I write, and not when anyone else wants me to. Writing and inspiration do not work that way, so no matter how many times I receive an angry message from someone accusing me of dragging my readers along or disrespecting my readers because I can’t put together a book in the blink of an eye like they expect me to, it really shows me what kind of person they are. It shows they have no respect for me as an author, let alone as a human being. You don’t know anything about how I treat my readers because you choose to stay on Goodreads instead of joining the rest of my readers in my Facebook group where I engage with them far more often than you think. Please don’t complain to me about being attacked when you literally called me wretched for not giving you what you wanted. Please reconsider the way you approach authors because if you think it’s okay to treat authors like this, then please don’t expect any of us to be open or beholden to you.

I know you have a busy life. But to have book series and then leave us hanging for more than a year for the final book is not okay. I will remember this before I start another of your books. That is IFI ever do read another series by you! Do you have a release date for Stonger series?
