Well, sadly, I can’t do it on my own. A producer or director has to want to champion the book. And there are so many great books out there that could be movie material, it’s often a matter of the stars aligning just right. So I don’t hold my breath for lovely things such as movie deals or graphic novel deals. Although I do quietly hope and dream it might one day happen. ;) You never know what the future has in store!
On that note, there’s a fun website called “If List” where fans can post their favorite books and vote for actors/directors in hopes to stir up a buzz for them and get a producer’s attention. Are you working on anything new? Stain was so captivating & I would love to see your take on other fairy tales like Rumplestiltskin or possibly even Mozart's opera Magic Flute. I think your take on Magic Flute would be haunting, whimsical & just all around spellbinding!
