I loved Eleanor & Park so much. You're an amazing writer, no matter what... I am just not a person who gets fanfic, so four in a row of that genre keeps me in a state of perpetual disappointment. Not that you owe me anything, of course! Do what you love. But soon will you publish another book that's not fanfic-related?

This might not change your mind, but the Simon Snow series isn't fanfiction; it's straight-up fantasy. Well ... not STRAIGHT UP. My writing style tends to be very realistic, even when I'm writing fantasy. But it's an original story with original characters. It's the most epic story I've told so far and I think the best love story. You might like it!
Also -- my graphic novel, Pumpkinheads with artist Faith Erin Hicks, is a contemporary, realistic story.
