Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tracy Moore It came first by being a woman firefighter. One day while sitting in a group of Minneapolis female firefighters someone said, "One of us should write a book."
I said, "I'll do it."
And the journey began. I knew there were so many more stories than just my own that had to be included. I interviewed 30 women, then combined and dramatized our stories to create four fictional badass characters.
