What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Sarah Barrie Well, the initial idea behind Legacy of Hunters Ridge came about after we had a prowler hanging around the farm. Lots of creepy events took place. Lights down at the stables would go on and off, horse rugs would be removed, things would be moved around in the shed, dogs would lunge at windows in the middle of the night. I went walking out the back of the farm by myself one day and on the way back noticed a set of large boot prints behind mine in the mud of the creek. On a neighboring property a little girl woke up through the night and saw her father still up. she went to the bathroom and said goodnight to him on her way back to bed. She told her mother in the morning that daddy had been in the hallway. But her father hadn't been home. This went on for weeks and then just stopped. No one ever discovered who he was.
