There are more than a few mysteries in my life, but I doubt that they'd make good plots.
There's the totally implausible way I met my wife, and the fact that science fiction made it possible, even though, at the time, she hated science fiction. Or the fact that, as a grade schooler, I hitched a ride on a mail truck, fell off, and got a concussion -- and that my mother, three miles away at a friend's house, stood up, said "Lee's been hurt," and drove to where I was stretched out unconscious on the side of the road. [By the way, the mail carrier never saw me].
Too many mysteries are too improbable for books.
On the other hand, my comparatively pedestrian, and none-too-mysterious career in politics has given me a great number of ideas and plots.

Would you consider making prequels, with completely different characters for the Parafaith war series? What if you highered a ghost writer, or partnered with another writer to build the world? Perhaps, the books could operate from the perspective of different planets, civilizations, and likely a few individuals. Given the rise of AI into writing, is it possible integrate more ethics into our world?

What was behind your decision to refer to the main characters in Isolate by their last names? It was quite jarring, especially at the start, though I got used to it. Also, thank you so much for the new series - fascinating world and I enjoyed the first book thoroughly. Looking forward to more.

I read that you don't plan to add to the Corean Chronicles. That's, arguably, my favorite of your series...my favorite jumps back and forth between Recluce and Corea depending on my mood. I realize you only have so much time and so many books in you but whyyyyy (she whines!?)
