It began as social media posts where I processed my desire to be gentler with myself out loud. Friends and strangers began to comment and even privately reach out to me about how those messages resonated with them.
I quickly learned that I was far less alone than I ever believed possible, and soon, "Dear One" entries began popping into my head as I offered love and support to my children, dear friends, extended family, and yes, myself as well.
It wasn't long before friends began clamouring for these posts to be collected into a book so ... here we are. Here it is. My first book.
