What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kat Ross Stick to some kind of schedule and write the sort of books you want to read. Don't quit when it starts to suck, which it will eventually. Just get to the end. Then you can look at the horrible piece of crap you just wrote and fix it in the miraculous process called "editing."
