Susan, aka Pooh Bear
Susan, aka Pooh Bear asked Rachael Brownell:

Having been born and raised in Michigan, reading books under the comforter in winter was a way to pass the cold days and escape to faraway places. I made one successful attempt and publishing a book in 2007. Writing for me was a form of escape. What started or inspired your writing?

Rachael Brownell Thanks for asking. My son started school and I found myself with a lot of extra time on my hands. I was working full time but found myself bored when I was home and he was at school so I did a deep clean of the house and in doing so, I found the original manuscript for Holding On. It was AWFUL! I'd written it when I was sixteen. I was drawn back into the story and felt the characters deserved better than I'd given them, and they deserved an ending (I'd never written one). That book turned into a series of 4 books. My love for writing was reborn and the rest feels like history. I'm about to publish my 40th(?) book in a few weeks.
