I force myself to sit at my desk! When I was working on my book, I had a Facebook check-in group of several writer friends. We'd check in with each other at 6:30 a.m., and then check back in at 7:30 a.m. to report on what we'd done in the last hour. It helped in terms of accountability and made the beginning of each day's work a little easier.
