How do you get inspired to write?

Jamie Ryder Finding the inspiration to write is subjective to everyone. I like to carve out a specific time in the day like the early morning and I'll dedicate anywhere between half an hour to an hour writing. It doesn't matter how the writing comes out. It's the process of doing it and taking it one step at a time.

Using that approach has helped in finishing first drafts and then I'm free to go back and edit as much as needed.
