So i was curious. Leland from TSoDB, is he based on Lafayette from True Blood?

Kova Killian He's inspired by Lafayette yeah. When I was writing Dragon's Blood, the actor for Lafayette passed away. He was my favorite character so I had to do a character in the book that was inspired by him. Sam was originally supposed to be in there too(as Scott, Leland's boyfriend.) but i axed him and just made Leland the owner of the bar.
