Will the god personification of Eric become the lord of light after the devourer to make sure the event of rethven causes the religious war that leads to Eric Nuking the world and forcing him to go back in time? If so is he doomed to live in the endless loop of destiny in which he has to follow to becom his own vampire father?

Wow. That would be AWFUL, wouldn't it? What kind of sadistic monster would do that to him? It would have to be a ruthless, evil person--like a writer, or something.
<spoiler>Although Eric's whole goal is to let everything go exactly as it did before, avoiding potential paradox problems, until the moment comes when his first self is going to nuke things. Then he has to engineer matters to make sure the Orb flees through the Zirafel gate and his first self chases it through the Tamaril gate. If nothing interferes, he can close the time-loop and all will be well... </spoiler>

Re-reading in prep for Penumbra, I'm shocked once again by some significant parallels. Eric has difficulty reading people's faces and tones, often doesn't understand social cues or what he's done wrong, misses the obvious, hyper-fixates on what interests him. He is very easily overwhelmed post book-2 by intense smell and taste, and cares deeply about things like manners. Are the parallels to autism intentional? (1/2)

In Sunset where the house burnt down, taking all the accumulated magical knowledge his 'previous-life-self' had written down - What if it still exists in another parallel world and he can find Sasha again, waiting for his reincarnation? The knowledge wouldn't be lost. (I was so sad those books burnt)
