Just started reading this one and wondered how long it took you to write it? I've always marveled at authors who can switch from on character to the other telling the story and changing the person it's told in. I am not a writer, but it seems so challenging.

Is A Gentleman in Moscow going to be made into a movie ? I loved this book, story having lived under a Communist regime for the first 11 years of my life... I totally relate to the distrust people have of each other, the distaste I have for the word 'comrade'... This is an amazing story. Thank you so much for giving us such a story of grace, quiet courage, and hope. Thank you for the ending.
