Goodreads asked Ben Adams:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Ben Adams Do you know that feeling when you have an argument with someone and you walk away feeling miffed that they got the better of the exchange? Then, suddenly about three hours after the incident, you think of the killer put-down line. For me, the best thing about being a writer is that you can add that killer line in to your dialogue. I wish real life was as easily amendable.

Oh, and the other great thing about being a writer is that when you read a good book, the experience is over in a matter of days. But when you write a good book, you get that engrossed feeling for months on end!
