Because you reblog A LOT of my stuff and also follow me and I wanted to know if I, with all the other people you follow, helped you in any way with The Retribution :)

Michelle Hodkin All of the fan art, music, videos, everything that readers create that is inspired by my books does help me. Knowing that something I made inspired you to create something in an entirely different medium is the highest compliment you can pay a writer, basically, and I couldn't be more grateful, especially on the days when the words aren't coming so easily and the books feel like they will never be finished. It's a reminder that there are other people out there who care about this thing I'm pouring my heart into--that I'm not alone in it, even if it feels like I am when I'm huddled in my chair with a cat on my lap, staring at a blank screen. It makes me want to work harder for you, and better, because you're invested in these books too.
