Hi Andy, I listened to your book, wonderfully read by R C Bray, and it reminded me of the Apollo 13 mission. I really liked the fact that all the science / maths was real too. I've been interested in space travel since the moon missions. I'm now 50. Do you think we’ll actually have a manned mission to Mars in my lifetime? And, will the first mission be a one-way journey? One cannot read your novel without thinking of Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles". What do you think of that book? Have you considered the idea of writing a "Bradburian" version of your story? (i.e. an extraterrestrial being observing Watney, or Watney telling the "true" version of his adventure he didn't dare to record on his log)
