My sister and my cousin adopted children from other countries (not western European). The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane was great: it presented the viewpoints of the kids, their adopted parents and their birth mothers. Wonderful. Different: Years ago, I had a friend here whose family has a tea "plantation" in Kenya. It's still there.What do you know about growing tea in Kenya?? Julie

Lisa See What's very strange is that I feel like I answered this question the other day. I bet what happened was that I answered it, but I forgot to hit submit. Anyway, here I am again! I've tasted tea from Kenya, and I know a bit about Kenyan tea farms. It's becoming a very good crop in Kenya, apparently.

Hi Lisa, I just wanted to say how much I love all of your books. Your books inspired me to visit Shanghai, which I finally did this past October. The modern Shanghai is so much different than what I had imagined from reading, but wonderful nonetheless. I visited the Shikumen museum with a preserved residence, which felt like it came out of the pages of Shanghai Girls. When are you expecting to publish the next book?
