Wow! You observed something and wrote a novel around it, just like Steven King who saw an old car behind a diner and wrote a novel about it. I read about a paint so black it absorbs almost all the light and wondered what would happen if it absorbed enough to become a black hole? I wrote The Phantom based upon that thought.
