I should really hate you after reading Changing Lanes, but it cemented you as one of my favorite authors by surprise. (Aka, I came across one of your books and instantly became a fan). Changing Lanes was read in just a couple hours, but I must have gone through 3 boxes of tissues. Have you thought about starting up a new series or are you waiting to finish up these two?

I'm so sorry. I just saw your post. I cried my way through writing Changing Lanes.

I am thinking of writing a new series. It will be something centered around a cattle ranch in Texas with hot cowboys and strong heroines.

I'm loving your books! I finished the Lone Stars, for now. And the PTO book and the first of the marilyns. They are so real, the feelings and the family sense, even if they are not blood related. Even though i have read/listened to everything except the Debra Dilemma, i cried and laughed throughout all but Rest in Pieces. At the end, i screamed. all i am saying! except hurry and write more. This is the first time I am ever writing an author. I just happened upon Perfect Summer as a fluke, and I am hooked. You have shot up to one of my favorite authors. I am currently reading Kindergarten Killer. The only problem is that I have to go to work. I REALLY want to read instead of work. After reading each book, I keep saying this is my favorite. How do you come with your ideas?
